Obtaining COC (Certification of Compliance) for electrical work done in Data Center and Computer rooms Calculating kVA, kW and BTU required for Data Center and Computer room and ensuring that the recommendations take power efficiency and cost savings into account

Ensure the Data Center and Computer room designs are designed to Business unit requirements and where applicable recommending on the different tier levels for electrical and mechanical

Reporting to IT Manager and Chevron Global Data Center Operational Excellence team in the USA on project progress

Ensuring a maintenance plan is in place for all peripherals at the Data Centre and Computer rooms

Quarterly physical access review of all Computer rooms and the Data Centre

Backup for scheduling of daily and monthly batch runs

Manage operations team for high performance and customer centricity

Ensuring the team meets and exceeds Service Level Agreements Setting up shifts for Operators working 24 x 7 x 365 Delegating and setting up objectives for team members Administrative duties for team members pertaining to leave and time management

Submitting monthly reports to EDS, HP and Chevron management Implementing change control regarding changes within the environment and acquiring business and technical approval from relevant teams, includes downtimes in Data Center for maintenance to be performed
