In the UK, car insurance is mandatory. It was quite a challenge to retain a customer when you aren't allowed to sell, I had to maneuver and focus on product knowledge and benefits the most.


I was a top performer, with many certificates and awards.


Above my general job description, my Team Leader and Contact Center Leaders would often ask me to coach the team on some techniques, or present a session in the Auditorium, listen to phone calls and do some dip checks, coach on my findings. I was a go to for queries, or help amongst my peers and my managers.


I almost became a Team Leader, sadly I resigned just before I received my promotion.

  • If the GM needed anything done, I'd help. Examples are - printing of homework, renewing license disk, paying bills on his behalf. I was not his Personal Assistant though.
  • I worked in our retail stores on weekends as a sales consultant now and then, managed stores for the day when the manager could not. I have had quite a variety of roles at Martiq 985, and attained basic experience in some fields, but mostly in the HR, Stock Control and Admin.


From this administrative position, I was promoted to HR Administrator and then shortly after, I received the Stock Controller position too.
