In 2018, during my grade 10 finals, I was diagnosed with late stage 3 Hodgkin lymphoma. Due to the necessary treatments and procedures, I had to pause my schooling. The following year, my attempts to return to school were further disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which posed significant risks for an immune-suppressed individual like myself. Consequently, I pursued homeschooling and intermittently attended school for about a year. After undergoing a successful stem cell transplant and approximately six years of treatment, I am now in remission. I am committed to resuming my education and advancing my career.
