  • 1) Automated Complaints Management System Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Designed, implemented and established integration architecture enabling distributed complaints workflow applications of various business units to interface. Integrated these applications that’s running on top of various workflow engines (TIBCO Staffware and AWD) and platforms (.NET and J2EE) by designing an Application Integration Bus (AIB) utilizing Websphere Business Integration (Web service invocation Framework) technology and Altova Enterprise XML suite, specifically XML Spy, Schema Agent and MapForce.
  • 2) Enterprise Content Management System Phase 1 Role: Technical Lead Responsibilities: Interaction with clients, project scoping and requirement analysis Involved in intricacies of software development lifecycle, including the requirements, specifications, programming and testing phases. Architected and lead the team that implemented the IT solution to enable a single sourcing business strategy which aligns with enterprise information architecture. This involved structuring the overall solution architecture based on SOA and establishing the meta-architecture. Major components that had to be integrated was TIBCO Staffware, EMC Documentum and the MDA Technology (AndroMDA) used in the presentation layer.
  • 3) Leads Management System Role: Technical Lead Responsibilities: Managed the overall implementation and deployment of a leads management workflow solution where leads are routed to sales regions for fulfillment by area sales managers. Designed and implemented the fulfillment process using TIBCO Staffware. Was involved in the requirement gathering, implementation, testing, training and production roll out of the solution.
  • 4) Branch Imaging Solution Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Investigated the integration requirements for integrating the HP MFP devices present in the branches with Input Accel to enable the indexing and storing of customer documentation in a central imaging repository like Documentum. Documented the proposed architecture that was accepted for implementation.
  • 5) Sales Mobility Prototype Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Assisted vendors with integration into FNB Mainframe via IMS and FNB’s custom middleware protocol and layer (VODS) to enable real time account opening and other business functionality.

  • 1) Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Responsible for functional requirement analysis and technical design. Implemented and designed interfaces between SAP and Microsoft Project Management Server to enable human resource and financial data to be available on EPM. These interfaces were implemented using Tuxedo services and batch transactions were generated using oracle and java stored procedures. Responsible for designing, documenting and implementing oracle java stored procedure framework and database control logic.
  • 2) Development of software using java Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Developed Tools used by the Support and Maintenance team. This includes real time monitoring of both systems (email notifications, setting of thresholds etc.) and daily reporting on errors, bugs and incidents. Developed a Resource Scheduler used by management and other resources.
  • 3) Workforce Management I & II (WFM) Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Design and implemented a generic lookup system used by all data transformation components within EAI. This consisted of oracle java stored procedures wrapped in PL/SQL and a data loading utility using dynamic RMI servers. This module was used to retrieve message routing information and reference data lookups.
  • 4) Hardware Migration Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: This project required 2 class A systems to be migrated to new HP machines without downtime. Was part of the team that performed all the installations and establishment of the new high available environment including fail over and DRP.
  • 5) Establishment of Application DBA Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Was team leader for the investigation and establishment of the role of an application DBA within the EAI department. Responsible for standardizing on coding standards, frameworks, naming conventions and roll out and maintenance procedures.
  • 6) IT Metrics Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Was responsible for implementing IT metrics within the Department. Automation of daily statistics of the 1 million transactions per day was done using java server processes and servlets was used to access the information.
  • 9) Weblogic Server establishment Role: Integration Specialist Responsibilities: Involved in the establishment of a highly available Weblogic cluster environment.
