- Match deliveries with orders and deal with returns
- Maintain good client service to customers and suppliers
- Ensure that all unordered and damaged goods are returned
- Ensuring all work areas are clean and tidy and safe for staff to work in
- Accurate verifying, scanning, and capturing of physical goods
- Make sure that the stock is nicely packaged before it goes inside the inbound
- Oversee departmental employees and motivate attention to detail, for constant accuracy and turn around times
- Maintain FIFO of tasks within the department
- Ensure exceptions and escalated daily operational queries from the team are resolved timeously
- Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company's standards
- Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management
- Understand all the aspects and processes related to receiving, processing, put-away, picking, packing and inventory
- All relevant documentation regarding of safety have been signed off by all relevant employees
- Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulation
- Responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Identify hazards and mitigate risks
- Participate in incident investigations to determine causes and manage worker's compensation claims with relevant role players
