Summary

I am a highly motivated person with a Doctoral (PhD) degree in Development Studies, focusing strongly on civil society, governance and development in South Africa, and developing countries in general. Together with a strong research background, I have seventeen years of experience in public service where my core job function was in the development field focusing on training and capacity building of nonprofit organisations (NPOs). My strength lies in my ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and yet I feel comfortable in a teamwork situation. My ability to innovate has endowed me with the capacity to find alternative and yet efficient ways of dealing with life's challenges.
