I performed surgical procedures such as surgical debridements, below and above knee amputations, tonsillectomies in children and more. I also participated in ICU rounds weekly and surgery presentations with the specialist.
  • Paediatrics: Managed common and rare paediatric conditions and emergencies, coordinating care with other departments under senior and specialist supervision to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Gained exposure to high care and neonatal ICU cases, managing cases under consultant supervision and performing various procedures.
  • Internal Medicine: Collaborated with experienced medical officers and consultants, undertaking various tasks and procedures to enhance clinical skills, expand knowledge, and foster independence.
  • Obstetrics & gynaecology: Managed cases and participated in daily rounds and weekly grand rounds. I saw patients at the High risk clinic, did Ultrasounds on them and escalated care where needed. Performed both elective and emergency C-sections and common Gynaecological procedures.
