My work journey started in 1996 as an electrical engineering apprentice with Sishen mine. In 1998, i qualified as electrician and was employed as a shift electrician. I was later sent to Sivos training centre to do an internal mechanical training to be converted into a shift millwright.

In 2008 i was promoted to a Technical Codifier position in the Materials management under supply chain and in 2014 transferred to a warehouse supervisor role, also under supply chain. Lastly in 2018 changed to a resource coordinator role under engineering maintenance.

My journey through the roles i have occupied have given me a broader understanding and experience of the work place in terms of engineering maintenance, inventory management, supply chain processes, project support, teams and safety management. In terms of team participation, i demonstrate strong team collaboration, and adaptable in a diverse and changing environment.
