Dionne Honiball

I have over seven years of hands-on experience working with a wide variety of horses, including foals, green horses, and more experienced mounts. Throughout this time, I have been deeply involved in daily horse care, handling, training, and stable management. I have worked extensively with foals, including haltering and early handling, ensuring they are calm, confident, and well-mannered from a young age. I am also experienced in working with green horses, taking the time and patience required to build trust, confidence, and correct foundational training.

I previously owned my own Thoroughbred, whom I purchased directly off the track. Through consistent schooling, correct conditioning, and dedicated training, I successfully transitioned her into a capable and confident jumping horse. This experience required not only riding skill, but also a deep understanding of horse behavior, fitness, and mental development. In addition to this, I have owned and worked with more than one horse and have assisted in the care, rehabilitation, and training of numerous others over the years.

Alongside my riding and training experience, I have also given riding lessons to children. This role strengthened my communication skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to ensure safety while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. I am confident working with both horses and people, and I take pride in being patient, calm, and professional at all times.
