· Loading/offloading bulk road tankers

· Monitor the operational areas to ensure that the plant always remains safe.

· Dip tanks(daily/weekly/monthly)

· Capture dips

· Operate pumps according to company procedures and work instructions.

· Complete all daily and weekly safety check lists and report all deviations to your superior.

· Manage effluent and separator operation

· Liaise directly with the Staging Operations to arrange road trucks release.

· Weigh in/out road tankers

· Plant housekeeping

· Pressure test flexible hose(s)

· Keep record of spill kit material or equipment

· Conduct circulation of product

· Tank to tank transfer

• Sampling Land and Road Bulk Tanks
• Dipping and Sealing Road Bulk Tanks
• Sampling Retail Sites (BP)
• Witnessing Dips at site such BidVest Tank Terminals & Vopak
• Inspecting Land and Road Bulk Tanks
• Housekeeping
• Stock control of material such as sample bottles, tins, rag bundles and sampling equipment
• Storing chemical sample in designated areas
• Disposing chemical according environmental standards
• Communicating with customers in order to understand how a sample needs to be taken in order to diagnose a certain problem
