  • Providing Management and Coordination roles of all the Organisation functions in the Region
  • Coordination and design of Social Cohesion in the UN-World Food Programme (WFP) led consortium to create Resilience Livelihoods for the poor and perennially food insecure communities
  • Social cohesion initiatives to help violence torn communities to come together, work together and find organic peace and sustainable peace initiatives, integrate survivors and perpetrators, promote collaborations and reconciliation efforts at community level and well as at Strategic levels
  • This was done through the Trauma Healing and Empowerment activities that create the inner strength and power to engage and refocus on moving forward
  • Formulate, plan, budget and supervise project staff and carry out monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure attainment of set objectives and indicators
  • Participate in research and continuous improvement of the organisation interventions
  • Attend Strategic meeting and spearhead advocacy and networking initiatives at various levels
  • Help establish, capacitate and empower Community Based Organisations (CBOs) in all the communities of operations
  • This was meant to build ownerships of processes and sustainability of the same
  • Representing the Director on Mission visits, partner meetings and other as assigned
  • Managed to helped the organisation to co-create community initiatives with government Line Ministries for improved sustainability and support beyond funding of these activities
  • Successfully crafted and implemented novel youth programming in the organisation
  • The project has since been running for the past 10 years (2015 to date) and has impacted lives of young people as shown by the external evaluations that were instituted by the funding partner (Germany Church- Bread for the World)
  • Led the implementation of a new social cohesion project which was adapted to Livelihoods projects and produced resounding impacts following the external evaluation conducted by an independent evaluator
  • This was a USAID-UN-WFP Led Resilience Livelihood Initiative project implemented by 4 consortium partners
  • Another one was support by the Catholic Relief Services (CRS), WHH for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Chimanimani following Cyclone Idai
  • Through stakeholder engagements, managed to established a number of partnerships and learning platforms in the region
  • Helped expand the organisational reach in line with the Strategic Plan
  • Participated in the development of Community Based Organisations (CBOs) and these have sustained and some grown into established organisations
  • Participated in the Longitudinal Study conducted by the International Evaluator, on the long-term impact of Tree of Life Social Cohesion and Trauma Healing interventions on survivors of Political violence, post and present violence
