  • Through my many years the beauty DM campaigns have consistently driven ROI in the double digits.
  • This is partly due to the loyal customer base and partly understanding the customer segmentation and targeting correct customers.
  • Nov 2019 saw the team Reengineering Edgars Beauty with the I’MPerfection Campaign: It’s your imperfections that make you perfect, that make you I’MPERFECTION.
  • This was widely written about and grew brand recall and awareness.
  • We partnered with influencers in the Beauty Squad to drive the brand.
  • This was never budgeted in the fiscal and through my efforts in saving on other campaigns we were able to find enough budget to make this a hugely successful campaign.
  • Festive First Oct 2019 as the campaign manager I drove a different promotion by segmenting our brands and did 2 x separate catalogues for Bridge and Luxury brands for 2 moths Oct and November.
  • June 2019 Father’s Day campaign, which I managed, saw the social media campaign deliver indexes above most of the industry averages.
  • In Nov 2017, I was part of the team that successfully launched Kelso Beauty, Edgar’s private label make-up brand. This is now the 4th largest colour brand in rand sales and 3rd largest in GP rands.
  • Increased brand awareness by developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Implemented performance tracking systems to monitor campaign effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to optimize results.
  • Organized successful promotional events that attracted new customers and generated positive media coverage for the brand.

  • Red Square was 1 of only 3 divisions to attain all KPI’s in 2017, I attained 102% for my performance review and received performance bonus that amounted to 9.6% of annual salary.
  • In 2012/13 I was integral to the launch of Red Square ecommerce website.
  • Coordinated across multiple departments internally, and collaborated with external IT and other professional consultants to design, build, and launch the website.
  • Developed SEO optimized content for the website, emails, blog posts and social media platforms.
  • improved user experience by collaborating closely with design and development teams on UI/UX enhancements.
  • During the time the ecommerce website was opened we were the largest ecommerce site for Beauty in SA.
  • The Red Square was nominated and shortlisted for 2013 eCommerce Awards.
  • As a new website emailer marketing was integral to establish the brand, the highest revenue was directly attributed to emails from 2013 to 2015 while we built up a database and built the brand.
  • Through competitions we grew the database to 75k customers that wanted to receive emails and steadily grew both Facebook fans and Instagram customer respectively.
  • Red Square was the first beauty website to launch Prestige brands: Chanel, Givenchy, Sisley all Nov 2015 and in 2016 Dior and Kiehl’s.
  • I successful negotiated 3 months exclusivity for Glam Glow to launch online with the brand reaching #5 brand online for these moths.
  • Managed and motivated employees to be productive and engaged in work.
