As a dedicated advocate for human rights and social justice, I have devoted my career to promoting the rights of vulnerable groups and mining affected communities, particularly in Africa. Through my work in public law, compliance, social audits, grant-making, capacity building, organizational development, facilitation, inspiring confidence, and research, I strive to create a more just and equitable society. My research interests lie in the areas of social justice, social policy, gender justice, mining law, environmental law, social reconstruction, labour law, corporate accountability and inclusive development. I have extensive experience conducting community led research and social climate change audits, as well as facilitating social audits methodology workshops with marginalized communities. With a proven track record of managing budgets and resources, I am able to navigate complex situations with creativity and ease. I collaborate effectively with NGOs, government departments, traditional council, mining companies and grassroots activists, negotiating with stakeholders to empower communities and hold duty bearers accountable. In addition, I have an in-depth understanding of legal judgments, mining related legislations and possess strong research and analysis skills. I leverage this expertise to provide legal advice, and organizing the mining host communities and advocate for human rights and environmental law through organising and collaborative efforts, campaigns, workshops, and legislative education. My passion for human rights, and social justice and environmental law is unwavering, and I am deeply committed to advancing these causes through organising work and advocacy efforts. My work has made a significant impact in promoting the rights of marginalized and mining host communities, and I am eager to continue making a difference in the years to come. Furthermore, I have corporate legal experience and aim to utilize my expertise in drafting legal documents, liaising with clients, debt collection experience, and handling legal queries to provide effective legal support while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.

  • Oversee project baselining process for cost and schedules and ensure that all project systems are implemented according to organizational processes, standards, and procedures.
