Personal Statement: I am a high school educator with twenty one years experience in teaching Mathematics, Physics and Physical Sciences up to grade 12. I am currently the head of mathematics and physical sciences departments in my school in South Africa. I have been appointed to this role since 2016, which is the year I was awarded a “Teacher of the Teachers” award. I am a compassionate, empathetic, committed and enthusiastic educator who always exhibit practical pedagogical content knowledge in a variety of practical competencies. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my professional demeanor to make meaningful contribution to any schooling discourse. Academic achievement and social growth are my key focus points in educating children who will make meaningful contribution to society.

  • I was awarded a trophy for “teacher of the teachers” which was an appreciation of the school's management team on my ability to develop other teachers and collaborate teaching

  • I coordinate Matric (Grade 12) study camps every year in September in preparation for the Matric (Grade 12) final examinations
