Statement
I Dan Mbuyi serving as the Assistant Referee during the night game between Edgemead Football Club and JMI, am providing this formal statement regarding an incident that occurred during the match. In the second half Edgemead Football Club scored a goal against JMI that was not initially awarded by the match official. By following regulation and procedure with my role, I raised my flag to signal to the referee that an incident requiring his attention had occurred. I approached the referee and told him that based on my position and observation the ball had indeed crossed the goal line and that it was indeed a goal. After I spoke to the referee, The referee made his own decision.
