I have worked as a plumber in a construction new installation and irrigation environment for a little over a year before moving into a more specialized profession, where I learned a lot about underground water and borehole systems as well as water treatment and purification and the science behind it.
I worked on mechanical systems, pumps, automation systems, hydraulics, chemical treatments, designing and building plantations as well as commissioning of these plantations and project management of installations.
I also work as a part time Search and Rescue field operative on a volunteering basis, this has taught me a lot of skills such team work, determination problem solving under pressure and to cope with stressful situations. Along with a lot of technical and more specific medical and rescue terms.
I haven't been officially employed in an agricultural work environment but I have however spent a lot of time on my cousin's farm working and helping him, with him teaching me everything I feel I need to know to get started in that type of work. I have limited time on tractors and combine harvesters I have operated a T6070 New Holland and a Case IH 7250 harvester.
I am honest my farming knowledge is limited but I am a very quick learning and have a lot of technical skills to offer and am good with machinery and I am very willing to learn as well. I personally feel I would be a good candidate for someone's work force and I know I will have a lot to offer especially after gaining some more knowledge and experience. I don't have any fancy degrees so everything I know was either self taught or I have learned from hard work and observing and learning and by being hands on. I take in information and instructions well and know how to put it to work.
I used to be very into sports before I started working full time and have some good accomplishments.
