After being diagnosed and struggling with Ulcerative Colitis I started learning Tai Chi Chuan Yang Style to regain my strength. From 1996 to 2005 I was unable to work due to the illness. I learned various Hand forms and Sword forms, Chi Gung exercises and the Applications of the forms. My instructor relocated to Korea and I continued to teach the students, documenting the styles onto video.

My first taste of website design was the in-house website maintenance for Livingstones Garden and Home. This job was test set by Leon Keyter and upon successful completion, secured a job with him. Leon taught me Website design, uploading finished website onto client’s domain via

ftp, SEO (metatags and SE submission). Leon relocated temporarily to work and live in Cape Town, where I started contracting to him, and began my own company – Omix Creations where I honed my skills in SEO, Wordpress and Joomla.
