Summary

I started my career within the security industry in the year 2000, particularly in the Private Sector and i was subsequently appointed as a Risk officer at National Department of Mineral Resources (Eastern Cape Regional office) in 2008.

I was later appointed as Chief Security officer at National Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) (Western Cape Regional office) in 2011 and later in March 2020 i was appointed at DWS (Eastern Cape Regional office) as Chief Security officer until February 2023

The following were my responsibilities:

overseeing security directorate within Eastern Cape Region. I was representing the Department at Provincial and National Security Managers Forum. I was a member of COVID-19 Provincial Steering committee. I was a member of Regional Occupational and Safety committee and assisting in risk identification (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment) and implementation of recommendations. Ensure that refresher training is conducted in urgent matters, such as COVID-19 Protocol (COVID -19 Regulations).
