My responsibilities as Team leader include the following:

General Ledger reconciliations

Daily budget and planning

Monthly reporting to Group Financial Manager and Dealer Principal

Maintain fixed asset register, additions and disposals

Bank reconciliations Sewells benchmark performance monthly input data and feedback

Income statement finalization

Trial balance allocations and monitoring thereof

Supervising the AR and AP clerks as well as Cashbook clerks

Revise monthly processed costs

Approving and authorizing daily EFT payment requests

Approve all AP recons on a monthly basis

Ensure audit requirements are met for external audit purposes

System related and bank queries

Payroll input and processing of 97 employees

Member of the Employment equity board of LMC

Processing monthly provisional journals

Issue invoices for intercompany purposes

Prepare VAT input, output and clearing report for Group FM

Prepare management incentive schedules

Oil inventory reconciliations

Monitor parts inventory ageing

Provide for aged parts inventory

Reconcile floorplan reconciliations

Handle all queries related to inter-dept issues

Accounts receivable

Accounts payable

Parts inventory control
