• Spend Management analysis at Commodity Group Portfolio macro-level e.g. Spend Data refinement utilizing e-Procurement Spend Analysis solution, Commodity Category management prioritization Indicators.
• Conducting macro and micro level detailed spend data analysis utilizing e-Procurement solution tool and extracts reports. Develop summary and detailed reports which provide accurate information for prioritization and decision making. Maintain a log of information for spend data enrichment efforts. Commodity Category Level Spend analysis e.g. Supplier market analysis. Detail spend profile Indicators. Conduct detailed commodity level spend analysis and produce accurate information and reports for decision making. Utilizing various strategic sourcing tools and approaches to produce analysis reports.
• Sourcing analysis e.g. RFx and bid analysis, Category cost savings analysis. Financial modelling and business case development Indicators. Utilizing various strategic sourcing tools for Sourcing analysis. Participate in developing RFx templates under guidance of Commodity Managers and Director of Strategic Sourcing. Conduct a detailed analysis of bid responses from RFx candidates used in supplier selection decision making. Summarize financial business case and cost reduction models associated with various Sourcing Strategies and events in the process.
• Other analysis as required to support Department’s goals and objectives. Ensuring consistent adherence to ethical standards, organisational values and the provision of equal opportunities. Ensuring continued adherence to quality and quantity standards, customer satisfaction expectations and safety objectives. Enforcing compliance to standard operating procedures, contractual agreements and safety guidelines and deal with non-conformance when required.
• Negotiation, preparation and maintenance of SLA’s and contracts with various suppliers. Ensuring that amendments to contracts are actioned and that contracts are renewed if and when required.
• Demonstrating receptiveness and support for new ideas and change initiatives by adopting an appropriate attitude and taking action to ensure effective implementation. Maintaining effective relationships both internally and externally and assisting others to do the same.
