  • Lead Coordinator: Global Fund Request for Funding Development 2022-2025: I am coordinating the development of the joint HIV, TB & Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSHH) Request for Funding to be submitted to the Global Fund. The funding request/ proposal should be in accordance with the GF Allocation Letter, which stipulates that South Africa has been invited to submit a request for funding for 536,766,626 USD over three years (1 April 2022 to 31 March 2025).
  • Member of the Indlela - Behavioural Insights for Better Health External Advisory Board Meeting: The Indlela project aims to Building capacity to design and test nudges and other behavioural solutions to improve the effectiveness of health services and achieve better health outcomes in South Africa.   • Member of the Diagonal Interventions to Fast Forward Enhanced Reproductive Health (DIFFER) Policy Advisory Board: The DIFFER project aims to improve sexual and reproductive health services through delivering a combined package of interventions for general population women and female sex workers in Durban South Africa.   • Member of the Peace Corps Program Advisory Committee (PAC): for Community HIV/AIDS Outreach Program (CHOP). PAC is the “voice of key project stakeholders” that helps Peace Corps ensure that it develops credible, realistic and responsive projects and training programs. PAC serves as an advisory body to the Program Managers (APCDs) to design and assess projects.
  • Co-Leader for the Key Populations Technical Working Group for the South African HIV&TB Investment Case development: The aim of the Investment Case (IC) is to establish the most cost-effective mix of interventions against HIV and TB for South Africa over the next 20 years, taking into account both current and future levels of technical efficiency.
  • Chairperson of the The Sixth South African National HIV Prevalence, Incidence, Behaviour and Communication Survey (SABSSM1 VI) Advisory Committee: The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC), in collaboration with a consortium of partners, was implementing this a cross-sectional, population-based household survey designed to provide information on national and sub-national progress towards control of the HIV epidemic in South Africa. The 2022 survey was the sixth wave in the series. SABSSM VI was conducted in all nine provinces among participants of all ages from January 2022 to April 2023.
