1. Oversee and mentors’ functional application of Sales proposals and Process design:
Preparation of preliminary Process design for:
- Pre-treatment (includes Lamella, DAF, Media filters Ultrafiltration, and more), RO
- Chemical dozing
- Sludge treatment (centrifuge, Filter press, Thickener, and more)
- Post-treatment
- Design considerations: selection of process and process calculations, membrane selection, filter selection line sizing, and more
- Preparation and layout: PFD, P&ID, Electrical load list, and power consumption
- Preparing RFQ: scopes of work, datasheets, pumps, other engineering items and calculations and selection for RO desalination projects and bids
- Interaction with PLC engineer to help with logic development
- Prepare technical evaluation and comparison of documents furnished by different manufacturers
- Get technical clarity from vendors
2. Oversee Project Management:
· Managing costing and estimating systems
· Liaise with the workshop manager regarding scheduling and capacity
· Project timelines and execution
· Testing of equipment pre delivery
· Ensuring quality and specifications that meets market requirements
· Continual improvements where possible
3. Oversee Installations, Commissioning, and training:
- Managed commissioning team
- Ensure correct installation
- Ensure professional and successful commissioning
- Training of operators
- Control philosophy, O&M Manual, Commissioning book, and more for the execution of projects
- Provide handover documents (training registers, handover certificates, etc.)
- Local and international traveling may be required
4. Create a Continuous Improvement plan:
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to improve design and costing
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge and reading of existing and new water treatment, processes, and technologies in market
