Her expertise led her to join the Western Cape Provincial Government as an Events Manager and later as an Internal Communications Manager for Africa at IBM South Africa. As the owner of Umfana Conferences & Events and co-Managing Director of International Convention Solutions (ICS), Clarissa successfully managed the Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre for seven years.
