Supported incident investigations, conducting surveys, and assisting that non-conformances were logged and addressed.
Coordinated instrument management, including calibration, repairs, replacements, and competency checks for Electra GM, RadEye and related instruments.
Conducted clearance surveys, signed off scrap/waste/refurbished items, summarised quarterly waste data.
Assisted the RPO with transport of radioactive material, applying IAEA transport regulations, maintaining records, and supporting emergency preparedness procedures.
Liaised with the Medical Practitioner Clinic Administrator, arranged entry/periodic/exit medicals, and updated the Health Register.
Assisted the RPO deliver OEP compliance verification
Worked with HR and Training to ensure ERS Biometrics Access Management system data was accurate, including contractor and visitor hours tally and medical expiry dates.
Contributed to broader SHEQ responsibilities as required and integration of radiation safety into site-wide health and safety management.
Managed waste disposal processes efficiently following regulatory guidelines preventing environmental contamination.
Conduct ad hoc safety assessment/risk assessment radiation monitoring surveys, as requested by the RPO.
Attend six-monthly radiation management review meetings.
