Summary

I am Jackson, a graduate at School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (PolyU) in Convention and Event Management. Since the schooling in Hong Kong requires us to be conversant in Cantonese (my home language), Mandarin and English. The result is that I can fluently read, speak and write all three languages. Regarding my work experiences, I started my job career as a fulltime server in a fine dining restaurant in Marco Polo Hong Kong. After that, I worked as a barista at Starbucks Hong Kong and Starbucks Cape Town. After settling down in Cape Town, I am currently the administrative manager in ZTE Corporation. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designed and implemented the vehicle/dormitory/canteen management,
  • Communicated with all the units internally and externally in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Built highly-efficient administrative team of 22 staff through ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • Provided administrative support to the Managing Director
  • Managed the budget and support the office daily operation, such as reimbursement, weekly/monthly ledger preparation and office supplies management.
