• Served on the Lerner Support Committee from 2019. This Committee serves to provide inclusive education and focuses on providing any support LSEN learners may need. On this committee I would assess the capabilities of these learners privide support, both in and out of class. Create opportunities for extra classes so that they may have a chamce to catch up on a topic they did not fully grasp in class. In rare opportunities I have had to create a space where I can discuss any impairments or barriers that I or other teachers at the school could not assist with. These would include referring learners for academic or psychological assessments so that we may better understand how to help them.
• I have spearheaded the fundraising commitee as from 2021. I have allevated all funds raised towards the purchase of books. We have been able to prucjase hundreds of textbooks and reading books for our learners to use.
• I designed the HH 10 year logo and conitued to create multiple forms of merchandise sold at a profitable amount.
• I planned and hosted the first family fun day in honour of the school turning 10. This event showcased multiple activities, vendors, soccer games, netball matches, performances, competitions and market sales. After planning it for months I was able to collaborate with a local radio station who broadcasted from the event.
• I coordinated and planned HH's very first school concert. The concert saw over 300 learners performing and over 500 attending the show. The concert was performed at the prestigious Feathermarket centre and was later featured in a local newspaper.
• I am a very proud wife and mother of 2 and believe that just as my kids deserve a teacher to provide the very best they can, so should I!
