Role Purpose
Serve as dedicated brand partner for key product houses within Sanlam Investments. This role ensures that brand strategy, campaign execution, and event alignment are tailored to the unique needs of each business while upholding the broader Sanlam Investments brand vision. Through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and effective use of project management tools and AI technologies, the role ensures consistent, impactful, and well-aligned brand delivery across channels and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Partnership and Strategy
Act as the dedicated brand and event support for:
· Sanlam Multi-Manager
· Sanlam Risk & Savings
· Graviton
· Glacier Invest
· Sanlam Collective Investments (SCI)
2. Build strong working relationships with marketing leads and business heads to understand strategic goals, identify opportunities, and tailor brand solutions accordingly.
3. Provide insight into brand tone, positioning, and audience messaging, ensuring that house-specific narratives complement the Sanlam Investments master brand.
Campaign Planning and Support
1. Support campaign development and execution for each business unit, ensuring alignment between brand strategy, product marketing, and reputational objectives.
2. Assist in briefing processes, content development, and campaign rollouts in collaboration with internal and agency teams.
Event Strategy Alignment
1. Work closely within the Event Strategy and processes to ensure all activations—physical or digital—are consistent with Sanlam Investments' event strategy.
2. Ensure that events across retail channels reflect appropriate brand messaging and audience engagement strategies.
Systems, Tools & Workflow Adoption
1. Trello: Proactively use Trello for project tracking, status updates, and collaboration with marketing and business stakeholders.
2. AI Tools: Adopt and advocate for the use of AI-driven tools for content review, campaign briefing, and marketing operations to increase workflow efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Collaborate proactively with internal teams, including digital, content, investment, marketing, and sa to ensure brand messaging is integrated and aligned across all initiatives.
2. Participate in regular planning meetings and status sessions to ensure smooth coordination and execution across functions.
