• Teaching various subjects in English and Afrikaans for grades 5 to 7 such as Life Orientation, Life Skills, Technology and Economic Management Sciences.
• Moderating of tests and tasks, as well as setting up of tasks for grade 7 Creative Arts and grade 5 Mathematics.
• Organizing and arranging of Entrepreneurs day for the grade 7’s as well as a school dance.

• I had the opportunity to teach various subjects for grades 4-7 which allowed me to explore my abilities in various subjects.
• I was fortunate to have been able to assist with both Hockey and Tennis teams, which allowed a different interaction with learners.
• My mentor and other teachers were supportive and encouraging fostering a positive experience, that gave me the necessary confidence.

Tutoring Frank was an absolute treat; I assisted him with his reading and mathematics. He was a fast learner, progressed well, and made assisting him so easy and enjoyable.

I kept his mother updated on his progress with regular feedback.

I did part of my teaching practicum at the Generaal Nicolaas Smit.

I was at the school for four weeks and had to get involved with the school and teach as if I were a permanent teacher. I was very comfortable teaching at the school and loved every minute of it. I taught various subjects: Natural Science, Technology, and Mathematics.

My extra involvement at the school was helping at the aftercare, which was run by the school. I assisted there with all grades.

The time at this school confirmed my passion for learning, and I am committed to continual improvement to assist learners.

This was my first face-to-face teaching experience; I had a brilliant mentor who guided me through this time and ensured I had all the resources I needed.

While at the school, I assisted with their hockey team, as I am passionate about hockey, having played the game throughout school.

I only had two weeks at the school and was given the opportunity to teach mathematics to the grdae 5's.

This rewarding and unforgettable experience is a time I cherish. I embarked on this journey with the four children, assisting with various duties. This included assisting with homework and tasks, reading preparation, and assistance, as well as test week and examination preparation and studies.

Improved children''s language skills through engaging conversations and interactive language games.

Maintained open communication with parents regarding their children's progress, needs, and any concerns that arose during the au pair placement period.

The role allowed me to guide and support the children I worked with, fostering a deep connection and bond with them.
