  • I am currently an accounting teacher at St Ursula’s. I was appointed to teach accounting from grade 8 to matric. I enjoy the subject as I love to give my knowledge back to the learners. I am currently busy with my PGCE as it is a requirement to teach. This teaching opportunity is the closest to a lecturing position as I have no extra mural responsibilities. My duties are as follows, but not limited:

  • My current position is a teacher at Bastion High School. I have started as a temporary teacher as there is no departmental position available. I had some accomplishments this year especially with the school athletics. I have managed to get three high jumpers through to Gauteng in three months’ time. I have also been asked to be a high jump official at the Gauteng Championships.
  • My responsibilities at the school are to coach high jump and Netball. I am also responsible to teach grade 8 and 9 mathematics as well as grade 9 Economic Management systems (EMS). I am enjoying teaching a lot and would like to share my knowledge with the school kids as far as I can.
  • My mission is to implement Pastel online for students to learn so that they would be able to step into an accounting department and know how the accounting program works. At this stage we are still busy trying to find finance to implement it in the school.
