Inbound Logistics

• Cargo Receipting: Ensure accurate entry of received goods into the system, validating both quantity and shelf life.
• Supplier Coordination: Follow up with vendors proactively to secure on-time deliveries.
• Internal Communication: Alert relevant teams to any potential delays in the supply chain.
• Cycle Counts: Conduct regular inventory checks to keep system and physical stock in sync.
• System Comparison: Align stock-on-hand records across multiple systems to ensure consistency.
• Dispatch Preparation: Generate and issue picklists for cargo ready to be dispatched.
• Sample Management: Oversee and coordinate the dispatch of product samples as needed

Outbound Logistics

• Dispatch Invoicing: Invoice trucks and containers post-dispatch to keep finances and documentation in step
  

• Checking document accuracy for cargo going to Namibia
• Forwarding documents to border post for pre-clearance
• Writing minutes in meetings
• Produce reports for every truck dispatched

• Dispatch cargo as per client's instructions, making sure it's the correct description and quantity
• Dispatch bonded cargo as per client request with the correct customs documents
• Process documents and provide quotes
• Perform cycle stock counts

• Receive bonded cargo for storage as per client request with the correct customs documents
• Make sure cargo is stored in the correct bin location
• Check for damaged stock and set aside

• Arrange cargo collection from client premises to our Warehouse
• Manage movement of cargo out of the country in compliance with the relevant local and international laws and procedures
• Process documents e.g. transport documents (Airway bills), customs (SAD500) and Certificates
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
