Valkenburg Psychiatric Hospital for recovering individuals aged 19 – 50 plus years old.
* Facilitated drumming circles and talking circles whereby each session would begin or end with talking about emotions and naming one thing each to be grateful for.
* Incorporated within the drum circle sessions, song singing and dancing in the middle of the circle as a way of self expression, using songs to infuse a state of joy, improve memory, encourage team work and individual expression as well.
* Encouraged students to speak, sing and interact with each other and with myself. Encouraged each person to take part in the talking circle and in using creative skills in answering questions, choosing songs to sing , learning the songs as well as learning simple to complex drum techniques that benefited both cognitive and physical and emotional aspects during their process of healing at the organization.

* Directed the production of weekly episodes that were about esoteric and community kindness that were implemented or offered by people in Cape Town that had at its core, a positive impact on society and the interviewees themselves had a strong affinity for spirituality, compassion and love for all human and animal kind.
* The episodes were created for local Television Broadcast and as one of the directors, I had the following responsibilities:
* Researched potential content for weekly documentary episodes plighted on local television station.
* Interviewed potential featured persons, compiled an insert reports of various potential stories for the Producers to select from.
* Organized and compiled a shooting schedule, that includes address and contact details of interviewee, a time schedule, equipment needed, duties of the team, questions for myself to ask the interviewees (off camera) and "cut aways" that will be essential for the editor in post production.
* Worked closely with editors to create each episode and present the final producer to the Producers before sending them to the broadcast studio.
* Worked as one of the Assistant Producers. Urban Brew Studios 2008-2009
* Taught Sudanese filmmakers the basics of documentary filmmaking in order for them to successfully create and maintain their second television station in Sudan.
* Helped the students write successfully compile lesson plans in English (their native language being Sudanese / Arabic)
* Taught the students how to present themselves successfully as presenters for the various programs.
* Taught and facilitated the learning of filming presenter dialogues in the studio.
* Facilitated and worked with the editors to compile initial episodes of footage filmed in Sudan, that need to be added to "cut aways" for the in studio filmed presenters / voice overs for each of the various types of programs.
* Worked closely with the Producer and team as well as the Sudanese team, in order to create 5 different programs each with their own graphic intro, outro and Presenter driven content.
* Director of a 36 part series on various herbal plants used for various ailments. The episodes were broadcast once a week on our local Television Station. My responsibilities included:
* Researched content, contacted potential interviewees, researched and recorded relevant information that would apply to each of the episodes.
* Work together with colleagues to map out the 2 month travel shoot. This involved making sure all interviewees and people involved in each town, in all three Provinces were well informed regarding all the questions they would need to answer on camera, and all team members and people involved would be well informed as to the shooting schedule times of each days filming.
Wrote the voice over script for the Presenter of each of the episodes and was in studio during the filming thereof.
* Worked closely with the Producers and all the team members, including the editor, in order to create the final product.
* Second Language English and Afrikaans teacher for native Xhosa and Zulu students. My responsibilities were as follows:
* Provided English and Afrikaans L2 Academic Teaching as well as provided Guidance lessons to students aged 14-17 years (Grades 7 & 9).
