My greatest career achievement was setting up a successful Quality Assurance department for Maks and Blaze (Which is a fashion Accessory Importing Company) in within 6 months and developing systems and processes for supplier assessments and quality checks. I contributed significantly in growing the Maks and Blaze business by sourcing new reputable vendors. When I started in the company in 2012 there were 4 vendors and when I left the company in 2016 due to retrenchment, there were 56 active vendors. In 2017 I joined Richline SA (Which is a Fine Jewellery Factory) as a Quality Manager. I also successfully implemented quality policies and procedures for the company to comply with all the European and American countries that they export to. In 2018 I developed a group fabric strategy for Edcon and presented it to the CEO for approval. I was then invited as one of the main speakers on the Edcon Fabric Strategy Launch in July 2018 with the audience of more than 300 people for the Textile and Clothing industry. In February 2023 I was appointed as a Senior Buyer for Sleepwear at Jet and when I started in February the business was down by 46% and I was able to turn the business to profitability within 3 months.
