- My responsibilities included doing the daily reconciliation for the different mining activities at the pit, this is updating the performance of the previous shift and finding the rootcause for not completing the work the team was scheduled to do
- This is updated on the SORD system, with the Flanders, Provision, Qlikview, MicroStation and other software being used as sources of data and engagements with the relevant Front Line Managers and dispatch
- My role also included generating, issuing, closing and analysing and improving jobcards.
- Jobcards are used to highlight tasks and specify the requirements for completing work, looking at procedures, standards, outputs and skills
- I was also a stakeholder at planning, scheduling and reporting meetings on the mine; ensuring that the plan is executable, time-based and consider the previously planned and scheduled tasks that were not executed
