• Large-scale technology transformation, multi-year program at Standard Bank VAF:
• Architecting SBSA's new VAF SaaS solution at the conceptual and logical levels.
• Definition and solution design of the Customer Onboarding process (including CAMLs and FICA), Customer Servicing, and Offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Integration design for the SaaS solution and all downstream/upstream systems.
• Solution design/architecture defining for the integration of FileNet P8, (hybrid cloud), collections capability (hybrid cloud), verifications solutions API integration, integration of Software AG's Webmethods Digital Business Platform into the VAF ecosystem (hybrid cloud), solution design for the reconciliations capability (hybrid cloud), and solution design for the streaming of data into the bank from a SaaS solution and back out to the SaaS platform.
• Definition of new SaaS architecture (SaaS to on-prem/on-prem to SaaS) patterns specific to the VAF use case.
• Managing architectural compliance to SBSA's architecture standards and patterns.
• Representation and facilitation of all architectural workshops and meetings pertaining to Retail VAF and Commercial VAF streams.
• Leading the SaaS compliance to regulatory requirements with specific governance stakeholders.
• Define and architect the VAF Verification Solution to manage the confirmation of customer, employment, income, and driver's license verifications.
• Define the approach and architecture for business-to-business integration from VAF to external data providers.
• Due diligence on third-party data providers and the management of a PoC process to improve the CoI capability for 'straight-through processing.'
• Defining the data persistence approach and pattern for third-party data persistence to the data lake, with a view to creating curated data views for VAF and other lending areas within the bank.
• Assessing operational efficiency initiatives within the bank to assist in enhancing 'straight-through processing' and improving the overall CX/UX.

• Technology selection at MTN for establishing an MVNO:
• Evaluation of vendor technology solutions to support the development of a new MVNO for MTN
• Vendor management and selection
• Development of requirements to support a new MVNO with the view to going out to RFI/RFP/RFQ
• Drafting of the vendor RFP on behalf of MTN to evaluate the selected vendors
• Evaluation of technologies to support the new MVNO

• Technology evaluation for a Technology Selection process at Multichoice:
• Evaluation of Multichoice's billing ecosystem and its associated architecture
• Evaluation of the two software vendors to determine who provides the right solution for Multichoice's requirements, based on functional fit, implementation models, commercial models, TCO and architectural alignment.
• Assessment of the vendor solutions at high-level with a view to determine native in-box capabilities vs legacy integration.
• Development of an assessment report for Multichoice execs detailing findings relating to the billing solution, including TCO breakdown between the two vendor solutions over a 5 year period.

• Assisted the Saudi Reserve Bank in developing their 'newco' as an offshoot of SAMA, called SADAD:
• Lead a team of 3 Feature Analysts as the Senior Solution Architect, overseeing delivery of the following:
• End-to-end process definition to level IV for IT & Ops functions (overlaying best practise) to support the NewCo TOM.
• Facilitation of process validation workshops with the Functional HoDs within SAMA.
• Support the organizational design components for SAMA, for the IT & Ops functional areas including the definition of the IT & Ops Governance Forums.

• Assisting Eskom's Pension and Provident fund in establishing an Architecture practise from scratch:
• Work-shopping EPPF's baseline Architectures (where possible).
• Defining the baseline Enterprise Architecture deliverables (Business, Data (IS) and Technology Architectures at logical level for EPPF in support of the EA programme.
• Work-shopping EPPF's target Architectures (where possible).
• Defining the target state, Enterprise Architecture deliverables (Business, Data (IS) and Technology Architectures at logical level for EPPF in support of the EA programme.
• Defining the EA roadmap to ensure EPPF meets its strategic objectives.

• Barclays Bank UK divestiture from Zimbabwe:
• Providing governance/oversight for Barclays Bank divestiture from Zimbabwe, specific to Barclays' ICT function.
• Project Managing all the divestiture actions relating to Barclays Zimbabwe's ICT function prior to FMB taking over the Zimbabwe operations.
• Weekly OpCo reporting relating to all Barclays Zimbabwe ICT divestiture actions: progress against timelines/milestones, risks (mitigating actions) and issues.

• Assessing the current state of Information Systems Architecture (Application & Data) to support MMI's IFRS 17 transformation program.
• Defining the current state (baseline) conceptual Information Systems Architecture for MMI.
• Defining technology roadmap initiatives to support MMI's IFRS 17 program.
  Defining the future state, logical Information Systems Architecture for the IFRS17 program.

• Assess the DBSA's IDD Information Systems Architecture (Data and Application Architecture) fit for future use through stakeholder interviews.
  Assess all DBSA technical and architecture documentation (ICT strategy, EA documentation).

Synthesize the information obtained to define the baseline Information Systems Architectures for DBSA's IDD. Document findings and make recommendations.

Define the DBSA's IDD target Information Systems Architecture, based on leading practice.

Define a two-year remediation roadmap for DBSA's IDD.

• Assess the current state of Environmental Health, Safety, and Regulatory (EHSR) solutions within the First Rand Group, and define gaps between current state and future state solutions.
• Facilitate workshops to define the business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the future state EHSR solution within the First Rand Group.
• Define and document a remediation plan to transition from the current state EHSR solution to the target state.
• Define the conceptual solution architectures for the EHSR solution as part of the overall proposed solution strategy.

• Assess the current state of application architecture within AGSA, relevant to their Audit Management Solution.
• Document the current state application reference architecture relevant to the Audit Management Solution.
• Facilitate workshops specific to the application specifications and select processes relevant to the Audit Management Solution procurement.
• Elicit business, functional, and non-functional requirements specific to the Audit Management Solution.
