  • Developing a deep understanding of the local environment of the local media environment;
  • Building close relationships with leading journalists and media;
  • Sending coverage updates to client every morning;
  • Developing experience in crisis and reputation management;
  • Writing/Drafting and dissemination of press releases – Content generation;
  • Organisation/ Managing of and facilitation of media conferences (Sourcing speaking and exhibiting opportunities for clients across the board on an ongoing basis);

  • Writing/Formulation of Media Briefs (Briefing documents) prior to client interviews with media;
  • Attending client meetings – Weekly status meetings (at offices or via telecom);
  • Formulation of status reports and action reports following clients status meetings;
  • Formulation of EXCO and BOT reports of clients on a weekly basis as well as coverage reports on a monthly basis;
  • Managing and facilitating media round tables and meet and greets for clients with media;
  • Sourcing of features relevant to the client and managing these accordingly;
  • Involvement in the facilitation of media launches and client events;
  • Formulating quotes and facilitating the process thereof between accounts and client;
  • I was also involved in the creation of digital content for a variety of my clients;
  • The creation of social media content for clients’ (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter)
