‑Install, calibrate, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment and control systems.

‑Perform preventative maintenance tasks and record preventative maintenance activities by means of job-cards and notifications. Perform data collections and maintain relevant logs.

‑Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (Siemens S7 and TIA portal) in order to enable automation of the process.

‑Perform process monitoring by means of programming and troubleshooting SCADA and other HMI software

-Install and monitor process communication protocols such as PROFIBUS, ETHERNET, RS485 etcetera, in order to ensure uninterrupted communication between PLC and process instruments

‑Respond to emergency situations immediately, implement solutions swiftly in order to prevent machine
downtime and production loss.

-Assist in the process of RCFA by providing technical insight and supplying equipment data captured by HISTORIAN server

-Care and routine maintenance of electrical engineering equipment.

-Support undergraduate students with practicals and lab experiments

-Support Undergraduate students during their P1 and P2 practical training.

-Conduct online training.

- Administrative support.

- Perform OHS compliance inspections.
