CMA CGM (Inside Sales / Sales support) current position
- Support customers in the utilization of MyPrice (online platform)
- Handle quotations requests received by inside and outside sales.
- Support on a dedicated portfolio of customers.
- Send out monthly rates to customers both imports and exports
- Follow-up on quotations sent, expiring, and not booked.
- Contribute to dispute resolution both imports and exports
- Close contact with pricers on Freight & DDSM claims.

- Participate in establishing the Commercial action plans and ensure the agency sales segmentation is correct and up to date.
- Plan and conduct commercial calls as per agency sales segmentation.
- Identify the commercial market opportunities.
- Update commercial data and customer feedback in CRM
- Assist with General/NAC/Tender negotiations with both pricer and customer
- Assisting customers with any queries for both imports and exports
- Negotiate new rates for customers with our pricer for a quicker turnaround time.

CMA CGM (Customer Service officer)
· Handle exceptions / customer requests / issues / complaints / disputes and provide appropriate solutions / alternatives.
· Coordinate with related internal teams and follow up to ensure resolution. Contact to customers and manage/coordinate system modifications when needed (vessel delays, call omits, rollover, cut&run, late VGM etc.).
· Manage booking amendments / cancellation (after empty release (MH) / transport order sent (CH).
· Handle booking and Customer Service activities on special cargo or Short Sea Handle special requests.
· Assisting Commercial team with rates requests and commercial matters.

CMA CGM (LOGISTICS OFFICER)
- Handling all import and export shipments (empties)
- Empty tracking / off-hire tracking
- Empty evacuations in all regions of South africa (JHB/PLZ/DBN/CPT)
- Consolidating depot stock reports
- Depot outstanding allocations, sending to the bookings team, to follow up with clients
- Liaise with HO regarding planning of empty evacuations
- Arranging empty transport to the terminals and arranging for off-hire depots
- Repositioning from JHB to Durban (empties) to accordin
- Liaising with depots directly, regarding rates to move empty equipments.
- Ensuring there is enough equipment for FULL export shipments and ensure units are AV and ready for shipments
- Arranging RSA STOCK REPORT for all regions in South Africa
- Liaising directly with TPT and Operations regarding port situations and shipments of equipment.
- Ensuring we have enough stock for SEALS (strip seals and bolt seals) and keeping an updated record
- Sending seals to East Africa (Tulear, Madagascar)
- Updating transporter details on NAVIS both imports and exports
- Vessel reconciliation after vessel sails
Duties and responsibilities include, inter alia, the following:

- Transport invoices (UCD CPT to CT Terminal)

- Depot invoices (UCD JNB / UCD CPT / UCD PLZ)
- Transport invoices (empty shipment) (Durban depot to TPT terminal)
· Claims (empty damaged units in RSA)
- Raising invoices for damaged/total loss units and following up with payments.
· Updating parking lots for error tracking
· One way and off-hires / Long term units
· Ordering and deliver seals to COSCO branches and Depots
· Controlling empty stock at SACD DBN for Kuehne & Nagel
· Arranging Cabotage for empties.
