I am a dedicated and dynamic professional with a strong background in education, occupational health and safety, and administrative support. I hold a degree and a SAMTRAC qualification, and I am currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management to deepen my expertise and broaden my career opportunities. My experience includes working as a teaching intern where I supported both academic and extracurricular activities, as well as completing certified training in SHE Representation, First Aid, and Fire Fighting through Transnet.
Most recently, I served as a SHE Officer during the Transnet Coal Line Shutdown, where I played a key role in the Formation Rehabilitation Project. This high-impact project involved the replacement of two 1:12 turnout sets and full track formation rebuilding, where I was responsible for implementing SHE management plans, conducting risk assessments, leading inductions, and ensuring zero lost-time injuries over the 12-day shutdown period.
I bring a proactive approach, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to creating safe, efficient, and inclusive environments in both educational and operational settings. Passionate about continuous development, I thrive in roles that require teamwork, responsibility, and initiative.
