Summary

I graduated from St. Andrews School for Girls in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, South Africa in 2016. In my final matric year I was elected to the leadership council by my peers and teachers to fulfill the role as the deputy head of Music, Arts and Drama as well as the vice-captain of the tennis team. Academically, I obtained five distinctions as well as academic honors at the conclusion of my matric year.

In 2017 I was elected as the Head of the Women's' Board for Minds Sports South Africa.

Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) is recognised by Act of Parliament as the national controlling body for mind sports in South Africa.

Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) is also an affiliate of the International eSports Federation, Fédération Mondiale du Jeu de Dames, and the International Wargames Federation. Due to its membership of such international bodies, the MSSA is the sole authority for the games that it caters for in terms of the Sport and Recreation Act, number 110 of 1998 (as amended). In this role I supervised, aided and bolstered the growth, protection and important role that women contribute towards the eSports scene whilst promoting a safe-space for women to participate equally and fairly on a global as well as local stage.

My undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies majoring in history, economics, political science and german.

My honors Business History degree was focused on the "The Currency of Change: The Politics of adopting the South African rand cc. 1945-1961".

Currently, I am finishing my Business History Masters with my thesis:

Topic: "A Comprehensive History of the Processes Involved in the Establishment of the Rand and Decimal Currency System in South Africa c. 1910 – 1961."

I have been collecting coins and notes of African countries from a young age and my interests lay in the individuality, worth and investment when engaging with the collection of monetary notes and coins.

In terms of sport and sporting history, throughout highschool I was the vice-captain of the tennis team whilst playing provincial and first team hockey.

I then played hockey for Stellenbosch University after leaving school for two years at third team level. In 2019, I then left for Somerset West Hockey Club to play in the top division. I received the teams player award in my first year and the player of the year in 2022 where our team has managed to place top three in the entire Western Cape.
