Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

• Installing and maintaining machinery
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment for repair
• Maintain conveyor systems, cranes, ship loaders, and other port-specific equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures

Technical Duties:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. Using specialized tools, such as welders or hydraulic bolters, they align and replace a machine's individual parts
• Move and relocate machinery on- and off-site
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as required

• Running Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance: Verderflex Pumps, Goodwin, Centrifugal Pumps, Pneumatics and Hydraulis, Loadcells, AS-I, PLC, Scada, VSD Drives, MV Swithing, Valves with positioners
• Conveyer Belts, Speedswitch, Pressure, Level and Flow Transmitter, Sulphuric Acid, Caustic Acid, Fatty Acid and Amine Acid

• Maintenance and Programming
• Robotics Systems
• Motor Testing and Installation
• Drives (ABB, Allen, and Bradley and Motorelli) installation and programming
• Maintenance and breakdowns on Conveyer belts, Stackers, Gearboxes, Pneumatics, Hydraulic Systems and Compressors

• Repair and Build-Up of Lobe Pump SLR, RV Helicoidal Impeller Pump, Prolac HCP Centrifugal Pump, SE Pumps and EFI Pumps
• Reason for leaving Contract position

• Electrical Installations Vibration Sensor Installation

• Maintain, repair do fault-finding on electrical and instrumentation equipment at Hot Strip Mill, Temper mill and Roll shop as per laid down maintenance targets.
• Installing ABB Mag Flow meters and Transmitters, calibrate and service V150 and V500 fisher Control valves and Basic Valve link software diagnostics
• Service, maintain and strip Pumps (Centrifugal and Sump)
• Maintain, test and do fault-finding on electrical motors, cables and switch gear.
• Maintain service and repair precipitator for de-dusting.
• Reroute, upgrade electrical cables and panels of various machines, hydraulic blocks.
• Maintain repair pneumatic actuator circuits.
• Mechanical maintenance consisted of replacing hydraulic and water valves.
• Working with SAP to plan shutdowns.
• Getting spares from stores and sending routable spares out for repairs and QI of spares via SAP.
• Arranging site meetings for contractors via SAP.
• Making permits and doing isolations for safe working conditions. (Task initiator)
• Overhead crane maintenance and fault-finding on Yaskawa, ABB and AC10 drives. Also working with gantry protection, relay logic, contactors and cable faults.
• Common exposure on pressure transducers (pressure control systems), Tempo-Sonics, Sony's (Position control systems)
• Reason for leaving Plant Closed down

• Wire distribution boards for houses and shops in the mall.
