I have a solid and extensive background in Procurement and Supply Chain Management disciplines, gleaned from having worked in the manufacturing sector for international blue chip companies.

As an experienced and highly skilled Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Manager with over 20 years of experience analyzing sourcing opportunities and driving strategic, vendor negotiations to achieve business goals. I am confident that with strong ethical leadership, an analytical and driven mindset, I will significantly contribute to the objectives of the organisation, to increased shareholder value by ensuring the company strategic objectives are met.

The experience I possess covers the procurement of internationally traded commodities, logistics, namely, rail and shipping agency and vessel chartering, warehousing, inventory management and production planning. I have presided over the successful integration of the procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory functions across three divisions, during my tenure at a producer and processor of phosphate rock concentrate, phos-acid, and phosphate based granular fertiliser products. The procurement budget across the group, was over R2.75 billion, of which the traded commodities and shipping tariffs, accounted for about R1,5 billion. In addition, I've successfully presided over the procurement function for a factory expansion project with a budget of R2billion. This project came in on
time, and within cost, without any delays attributed to the procurement function.
