Relationship building & customers are indeed the cornerstone of any business and I enjoy working with people. My objectives have always been to be in a position where I can address the need of the customer, the satisfaction of both the company as well as that of the customer. With 15 years’ experience in the wine industry, I have a broad understanding of the industry and customer preferences. However, to maintain a healthy balance between customers and the services that are delivered to them a good administrative backbone is also needed. I have been able to in the past and it is my objective to in future maintain this balance which will enhance business prospects for the company that I am employed with.
INTERNATIONAL SALES: · Providing support to the director in the existing Export Markets event management:
Sales & Management Nationally:
• Managing the Sales Team Nationally + Sales reporting – Weekly + Monthly Sales Reporting.
• Yearly Target Setting with sales team – Quarterly review of targets per sales rep
• Managing Key Client relationships – Makro, PicknPay, Ultra Liquors, Spar Group
• General Sales: On Consumption & Off Consumption – (My personal target for this year was 30% initially after which I achieved a 50% growth)
• Budget planning for Promotional Support for the Sales team
• Stock Control for warehouses in Somerset West, Hermanus & Johannesburg
· Promotional Stock Management
• Liaising with international clients + completion of export documentation - Price discussions, converting possible leads into sales.
· I opened the following markets – USA, Seychelles, UK, Mauritius, Malawi, & Zimbabwe
• Export certificates & invoicing for international orders • Completion of SAWIS document
Organizing and managing two big events @ Idiom – Italian Festival in March & Prosecco Festival in November
