Bataung is an ambitious, result driven creative, versatile yet focused B.Sc. graduate. His drive in his current role(s) echoes his drive for success and delivery of all roles and tasks he takes on. Due to the transferable nature of certain skills he is more than capable of carving performing optimally in any role. His enthusiasm and agility to learning new ways of doing things in this field of study will benefit immensely from this young professional. Bataung believes in being a dependable, proactive and dedicated individual. He enjoys working in a team he is independent enough to handle assigned tasks on his own. • WITS Choir Head of Liaison; 2023-04-01 - current. Front of house duties, communicate with different stakeholders within the choir, and maintain partnerships with other choirs and organizations. Ushering and hosting guests and VIPS.
• WITS Choir Assistant Head of Voice; 2021-02-01 - current. Ensure that every voice group member is accounted for and complies with the Code of Conduct. Organize and run separate rehearsals and ensure voice group members know their music. Represent voice group members in meetings, and liaise communication between members and choir conductor.
• WITS Choir Uniform and Transport Committee: Assistant Head of Portfolio, WITS Choir, 2018-01-01, 2022-11-30, Organize uniforms and assist in booking transport: Assist the choir seamstress in transporting, collecting and auditing uniform. Communication between choir conductor, choir and choir seamstress.
• Worship Officer, Wits Anglican Society, 2018-01-01, 2019-12-31, Communication between church attendees and worship leaders. Assist in organizing events. Lead and support members in worship, collection of worship material i.e. hymns, choral pieces etc.
• Chairperson, Wits Anglican Society, 2019-01-01, 2020-12-31, Serves as neutral presiding officer for the church leadership structures. Lead in the organizing events, set agendas, represent the society, oversee administrative tasks. Noting queries and relaying them between members and the Chief Program Manager
