  • Attending to appear for Magistrate Court matters in both the district and regional Magistrate Courts. Court appearances varying from attending motion court proceedings for applications, pre-trials, and running trials.
  • Motion Court appearances include appearing for unopposed motion court applications such as Rule 23(8) and Rule 16(4) applications. Motion Court appearances also include appearing for opposed motion court applications such as opposed Recession applications and opposed condonation applications. Opposed applications in the Magistrates Court include appearing for the applicant or for the respondent depending on the matter being appeared for.
  • Trial Court appearances include appearing for pre-trials in the Magistrate Court and running trials by myself.
  • Trial record for trials I have ran in the Magistrate District Court are 13 trials, with 10 wins and 1 loss, along with 1 50/50 apportionment judgment, as of date of the curriculum vitale currently awaiting two other judgments.
  • Jurisdiction of Magistrate Court appearances include Johannesburg Magistrates District Court, Johannesburg Regional Magistrates Court, Randburg Magistrates Court both Regional and District, Roodeport Magistrates Court both District and Regional, Krugersdorp Magistrates Court, Booysens Magistrates Court, Benoni Magistrates Court, Germiston Magistrates Court, and Kempton Park Magistrates Court.
  • Drafting legal documents for Magistrate Court matters. Drafting of notices including but not limited to a notice of bar, notice in terms of Rule 22A, notice in terms of Rule 23(1) (6) (9) and (11) for discovery, notice in terms of Rule 16(2) for specific discovery.
  • Drafting of motion court applications such as Rule 23(8) applications, Rule 16(4) applications, Rule 60(2) applications, Rule 27(6) applications, Condonation applications and Recession applications.
  • Drafting of Pleadings entailing Pleas, Defendant Pleas, and Replications to Special Pleas
  • Conducting research on case law and judicial precedent from higher courts to apply in matters handled for purposes of arguments in court or for heads of argument required.
  • Duties also included following up with different sheriffs and serving documents when needed.

  • Volunteer work as a community liaison officer for a sewerage renewal project that took place in Henley On Klip, Meyerton.
  • Duties entail connecting the community members with project management through the use of various means such as letters, open dialogue meetings, and emails

  • Setting up and attending meetings between relevant stakeholders and the taking of minutes during meetings between relevant stakeholders
  • Supported program evaluation efforts by gathering feedback from participants in various initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring that safety protocols and guidelines are adhered to and complied with through the use of regular interactions with the Project Safety Officer

• Started an initiative to supply sanitary pads to females in need, in
less fortunate primary and high schools within the Midvaal area. The
project was done with the assistance of the Executive Mayor of
Midvaal Peter Teixeira, Chantal Gomes MMC for Corporate
Services Midvaal, and God on Earth Church (2022)

• Supplied 150 school shoes to learners in need, in the Midvaal area.

• Ward Committee Member handling the Development and Planning
Portfolio. This voluntary role included operating as a community
