Duties:

• Operating Trackless Mining Equipment (TME): Use and maintain heavy machinery such as Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) vehicles, articulated dump trucks, and jumbo drills. Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently to move ore, waste, and materials around the mine.
• Drilling and Blasting: Set up and operate drilling equipment to drill blast holes according to design specifications. Prepare blast sites, load explosives, and safely execute blasts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and blast design plans. ext-underline

• Communication and Coordination: Communicate with supervisors, geotechnical engineers, and equipment operators to coordinate activities, report hazards, and discuss work progress. Clear communication is vital in a trackless environment where vehicles and personnel are constantly moving.
• Inspecting and Scaling: Inspect working areas for loose rocks and unstable ground. Use scaling bars and other tools to remove any loose material, ensuring the area is safe before starting operations.
• Following Production Targets: Work towards meeting production targets by managing tasks effectively and ensuring timely completion of development and stoping cycles while maintaining quality and safety standards.
