  • Preventing vertical transmission by advocating for early ANC booking for HIV positive mothers, testing HIV and pregnancy in all women who are of childbearing age, and encouraging non-HIV pregnant women, non-pregnant women, and men who are sexually active to be on HIV prophylaxis.
  • Integrating IMCI and EPI by ensuring that the sick baby's card is updated, growth is monitored on every visit, and managed accordingly by referring to allied services where appropriate, and continuously screening for TB and HIV/AIDS symptoms.
