DAILY PLANNING AND SCHEDULING OF WORK ON PLANT AND

EQUIPMENT

• Chairing plant focus meeting
• Arranging for plant and equipment to be available for maintenance and testing
• Liaising with all affected departments to be made available for maintenance and testing
• Liaising with all affected departments on permits to work issues
• Liaising with resources planners on most effective way to execute maintenance
• Following up on outstanding work where Red zone equipment and plant is out service
• Drawing up project plans for major equipment’s outages
• Following up on plant notification and monitor progress of activities

EXECUTE DAILY PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES

• Liaising with Operating on plant problems and state of plant
• Meeting with Production Manager and exchanging information prior to plant focus and production meetings
• Following up on progress of plant and maintenance activities

ARRANGING FOR MAJOR PLANT OUTAGES WHERE UNIT SENT OUT IS AFFECTED

• Negotiating with Operating and Maintenance opportune time to execute work
• Arranging with Energy Trader to reduce loading through Trading and bidding & coding events
• Providing feedback to relevant parties arrangements and/or reschedule outages in case where system cannot accommodate load reduction

PLANNING AND SCHEDULING OF SHORT TERM UNIT

AS WELL AS FORCED UNITS

• Collecting scope of work from Resource Planners

Through interaction, negotiation and persuasion influence time and duration of work

• Drawing up master Project plan
• Arranging and chairing pre-outage planning meetings with stakeholders
• Planning permit to work requirements with Operating
• Planning and updating outage schedules on GPSS & coding of events

• ARRANGING FOR MAJOR PLANT OUTAGES WHERE UNIT SENT OUT IS AFFECTED
• PLANNING AND SCHEDULING OF SHORT TERM UNIT AND EQUIPMENT OUTAGES AS WELL AS FORCED OUTAGES
• COLLECTING SCOPE OF WORK FROM RESOURCES PLANNERS THROUGHT INTERACTION,NEGOTIATION & PERSUASION INFLUENCE TIME & DURATION OF WORK
• INVESTIGATE PRODUCTION –RELATED INCIDENTS

• Negotiate with fields services emergency stock level required at Technical service centers.
• Establish possible sources of material such as unused material in the field, surplus material in own.
• Establish possible alternative items that can be utilized and communicate it to MRP controllers
• Communicate with Work Co-coordinators to advice of changes in buyers guide in order to update the system
• Draw and analyze scheduled delivery reports and release expediting letters to suppliers.
• Initiate process to identify, advertise, and obtain approval for write off of obsolete stock.

• Keeping MRP controller’s informed regarding status and progress of all current and planned projects
• Ensuring availability of material at warehouse /store sufficiently before start of project
• Ensuring material is accurately and timorously picked through
• Doing expediting of material
• Creating Pr( purchase requisition) and PO( Purchase order) for different projects

• Verify receipts of stock against SAP codification and bin locations to ensure accurate stock recording.
• Bin and stack material according to store and OHSA requirements to minimize risk of loss, damage or injury.
• Identify items to be picked using correct picking instructions from work orders and ensuring accuracy of issues.
• Physically issue material to dispatching area or directly to customer.
• Perform stock counting cycle via cycle counting
• Perform loading/off-loading utilising specialised/mechanised equipment.
• Apply safe housekeeping/cleaning practices according to OHSA.
• Assist with Data processing and stores administration when requested, to ensure valid and updated stock records.
