Problem Solving – Improving Medication Retrieval Efficiency: During my time in the
pharmacy, I noticed frequent delays in finding certain medications due to the storage
layout, especially during peak hours when the demand was high. I suggested a
reorganization of the storage shelves based on medication frequency and urgency of use.
By placing high-demand medications in more accessible locations like labelling tables, we
reduced retrieval times significantly, which improved workflow and allowed staff to focus
more on patient care. (Clicks Mall of the South)
Ward Medication Distribution: I assisted in capturing and dispensing ward stock using
RX Solution, ensuring accurate inventory management and record-keeping. I also
prepared and delivered medications to hospital wards on time, collaborating with nursing
staff to understand and fulfill specific ward requirements efficiently. (Helen Joseph Hospital)
