My name is Awonke Sonjani, I am currently a final-year student at the University of Fort Hare, pursuing a four-year degree of Social Work in psychology and criminology and humanities registered in South African Council for Social Service Profession (SACSSP). I am highly motivated to begin working next year in 2026 to support my family and apply the skills I have developed throughout my academic journey. I can travel and change province if necessary.
My studies have provided a strong foundation in practical experience, particularly in client counseling, which I have gained through placements at various hospitals. These experiences have deepened my understanding of client needs and taught me how to provide effective, tailored support.
In addition, I have participated in local NGO marketing campaigns, where I demonstrated strong communication skills and a passion for community engagement. Outside of my academic and volunteer work, I have also worked as a gardener, highlighting my dedication, adaptability, and willingness to work hard in diverse environments.
With proven experience in client counseling and community outreach, combined with a strong work ethic, I am eager to contribute meaningfully to your team. I have attached my academic record and transcript as proof of my current studies. Im currently doing well in my academics and confidently sure im going to graduate next year 2026.
Through my academic practical training, I have developed an electronic portfolio that documents my work with communities, groups, and individual cases. This portfolio highlights not only my theoretical knowledge but also my practical skills in administration, case documentation, and client engagement. It reflects my ability to manage responsibilities effectively and maintain professional standards in real-world settings.
I am committed, adaptable, and enthusiastic about applying my skills to support both individual and community development.
