I am a highly organized, versatile, and results-driven HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) professional with over a decade of experience delivering exceptional compliance and safety performance across the Construction, oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. My career is distinguished by a proven track record in managing complex, high-risk environments, managing internal and external audit processes, and driving continuous improvement in HSE systems.

A key highlight of my career was my role in the successful completion of the Eskom Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme, a major infrastructure project spanning 11 years, during which I contributed to achieving 1 million Lost Time Injury (LTI) free hours. My ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards was also recognized by Sasol Secunda, where I received SHE Excellence recognition for delivering an LTI-free shutdown on the Unit 214 Rectisol Plant in September 2022.

In addition to project-specific achievements, I have successfully led my previous employer’s external audit recertification process for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, resulting in retaining ISO Accreditation. Furthermore, I played an instrumental role in maintaining Green Banding Status following a successful Sasol SQAS audit in November 2022.

My professional development is underpinned by a commitment to lifelong learning and industry best practices. After Joining the NOSA (SafetySA) team as an HSE Focused Vetting Officer, I have completed the NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (International) qualification in December 2024 and the NOSA Auditors Course in May 2025, further enhancing my auditing and risk assessment capabilities. I have also undertaken multiple specialized training programs tailored to the Construction and petrochemical industry to ensure my approach remains current, compliant, and aligned with sector-specific risks and regulatory frameworks.

With hands-on experience across both operations and strategic HSE planning, I bring a proactive mindset and a solutions-oriented approach to driving sustainable safety performance and continuous operational improvement.
